Britta Sandqvist - Books/Art: I was born in Finland, mother tongue Swedish, educated graphic designer, worked as textile designer for interior and fashion for several years, writer in Swedish, Danish and English with a literary production of two novels, two poetry books and seven plays performed on stage in Denmark, Finland, New York City and Ireland. I belong to the increasing number of authors working in several languages in our global society. After ending my career as designer, I have been painting - mainly portraits on paper - exhibitions in Denmark and Finland.
