                                                                                   "Stratocaster" is a mystery novel about a rock musician staging his own death and disappearing. I love this cover that I also designed myself. Written in Danish.

                                                                                       A very successful book, written in Danish, printed in 3 editions and dramatized. I am not interested in theatre, I prefer film, but after having heard and seen my words spoken on a stage I wrote my first play in Danish, title: "Verden er så stor" (=The world is so big.) The play was awarded in a drama contest at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and performed - after that I wrote two plays in Swedish - performed on stage in Finland and three in...

"Himmel och Pannkaka" written in Swedish (=Heaven and Pancake). It is the first manuscript I have ever written and the first to be accepted by a very established publisher. I designed the cover and lay-out of typography as I had just finished my education as graphic designer. That was more important to me then than the written content. The book was no bestseller, but it was awarded to be one of the best 17 books published in Finland that year based on design and sent all over the globe for exhibitions. Jean Paul Gaultier - before blond. I worked as textile designer for fashion company In Wear/Matinique and used to admire Gaultier's bold way of mixing patterns.
