HIMMEL OCH PANNKAKA

"Himmel och Pannkaka" written in Swedish (=Heaven and Pancake). It is the first manuscript I have ever written and the first to be accepted by a very established publisher. I designed the cover and lay-out of typography as I had just finished my education as graphic designer. That was more important to me then than the written content. The book was no bestseller, but it was awarded to be one of the best 17 books published in Finland that year based on design and sent all over the globe for exhibitions. I assume it was due to the simplicity...?  A classical composer found one of the poems and made it into a song. Jean Paul Gaultier - before blond. I worked as textile designer for fashion company In Wear/Matinique and used to admire Gaultier's bold way of mixing patterns.
